FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I have an NDIS care plan. Under which category can I apply for a session with Healing with Nature?

You can claim a session with Healing with Nature under the “Innovative Community Participation” section.

What does Nature Therapy / Forest Therapy mean?

Forest therapy is an evidence-based public health practice involving guided immersions in natural environments with the aim of improving mental and physical health whilst relaxing and enjoying the forest.

What do you do during a Guided Nature Therapy Session?

During a forest therapy session, participants engage in guided activities such as mindful walking, deep breathing exercises, and sensory explorations. They connect with nature through quiet observation, listening to natural sounds, and appreciating the beauty around them. These activities aim to reduce stress, enhance well-being, and foster a deeper connection with the environment.

What is the cancellation policy?

We strive to provide the best experience possible with our nature immersion sessions. However, we understand that sometimes plans change. Our refund policy is as follows:
- **Partial Refund:** Cancellations made one week before the scheduled session will receive a 50% refund.
- **No refund:** Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations made less than a week before the scheduled walk or for no-shows.

If we need to cancel or reschedule a session due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.
Thank you for understanding and for choosing our nature therapy walks. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact us.
